Dixie, my precious Yorkie, follows me around right at the back of my heels. Often, she is so close to my heels that I don’t see she’s there. I will call her only to discover her standing right behind me where she has been all along. She is just so sweet and trusting when she does this. This morning Dixie followed me into the bedroom, and as I stopped to shut the door, she came around behind me and took her position to follow me wherever I was heading next. I picked her up and said to her, “You are so trusting of me, and I love you so much! How could I not take wonderful care of you and see to your needs?” Then God spoke into my heart and said, “And that is how I think about you. I see that you trust Me and are always close to Me so that you won’t lose sight in your efforts to follow Me. I love you and will take wonderful care of you and your needs. If you know how to take good care of Dixie, how much better will I take care of you?”
